Parents Plus develops evidence-based parenting and mental health programmes in collaboration with families and services, and provides training to practitioners to deliver and evaluate these programmes in their organisations and communities, building the capacity of community, mental health, disability, and education services in Ireland, the UK and beyond. Our goal is to support practitioners with the tools to help parents and caregivers in raising resilient, confident, and happy children and young people.
All Parents Plus programmes are:

Our suite of programmes comprises:
- Early Years Programme – Promoting attachment, learning, and wellbeing for parents of children aged 1 to 6 years.
- Children’s Programme – Promoting attachment, learning and well-being for parents of children aged 6-12 years
- Adolescents Programme – Promoting effective communication and positive relationships, for parents of adolescents aged 11 to 16 years
- ADHD Children’s Programme – Addressing the particular needs of parents of children with ADHD aged 6 to 12 years
- Special Needs – Addressing the particular needs of parents of adolescents with an intellectual disability
- Working Things Out – Promoting positive mental health and teaching coping skills to adolescents
- Parenting When Separated – Supporting parents who are preparing for, going through or have gone through a separation or divorce.
- Healthy Families – Promoting positive relationships, and family well-being for parents of children aged 0-12 years
Training as a Parents Plus facilitator is open to qualified education, mental health and community professionals who work with families.
